- Operate and maintain a beloved renovated historic landmark at the highest level possible
- Grow the Community Fund, designed to ensure our communal space – with top of the line technology and staff expertise – is financially accessible for artists and nonprofit partners interested in bringing a diverse array of artistic and educational opportunities to the Benson community
- Offer the community a robust programming calendar, including theatre productions and staged readings, film series, community conversations around DEI and accessibility, arts education, financial education, children’s education, and diverse collaborations.

Why Donate to Benson Theatre?
Through programming collaborations, a wide breadth of community partnerships, and a first-class rental facility, Benson Theatre impacts the community in numerous ways, including:
- Providing an inclusive and accessible gathering place for Omaha communities to connect through the power of artistic experiences and creative expression
- Serving as a community resource and affordable shared space where local artists and nonprofits can entertain, educate, challenge, and inspire
- Offering the Benson and North Omaha communities artistic and educational experiences they might not otherwise have access to within their own neighborhood
- Bringing more people into Benson’s flourishing arts and entertainment district, creating new positive economic impact for the neighborhood
Since opening in early 2022, we have:
- Built a community of more than 130 programmatic partners
- Served nearly 5,000 community members (with a duplicated attendance of over 10,000)
- Holding more than 100 events
With the support of our generous philanthropic community, we are proud to be fostering an organizational model that allows us to collaborate widely and support our community partners, offering them an affordable space with technical expertise and artistic resources in which they can share their mission work with Benson, North Omaha, and the broader Omaha community.
