Table Grace: The Musical is a work created by Simone Weber (singer-songwriter, co-founder of Table Grace Ministries from Omaha), and Jay Gish (Improv comedy specialist, performer, writer, director based in Chicago).

The musical is fictional but loosely based on the mission and impact of Table Grace Ministries in the community of Omaha mostly through Table Grace Cafe. The songs were written by Simone and the book by Jay and Simone.

Throughout the musical you meet Pearl, an unhoused patron whose life is truly transformed by the Grace she experiences at Table Grace Cafe and she turns around to offer the same to others experiencing the effects of being unhoused, addiction, mental illness, or other stuffles in their lives.

You’ll alsomeet Mark (the chef) and Sarah (singer-songwriter), Emily, a girl bullied and forgotten yet included by TG and a whole cast of folks who are drawn together by excellent food, the need to be community together and to offer their gifts and talents as payment for their meal.

One of Table Grace’s main goals for this project is to get the word out to more people about the impact of Table Grace Cafe (1611 1/2 Farnam Street, Omaha) on our community and inspire deeper commitment andfunding sources to the ongoing hunger outreach work of our community cafe, food truck, and job experience program. And telling the stories of the lives impacted and transformed by Table Grace one meal at a time.

Delicious food available at the show catered by Table Grace for an add on of $16 (paid at the food window when you order it either before the show or at intermission).

If you would like to donate toward the mission of “nourishing hungry bodies and souls” through Table Grace, please go to www.tablegracecafe.com to donate today!
