Humans of Tel Aviv Gallery Salon Feb. 23

In B Side, Benson Theatre, Food, Open Mic, Spoken Word

The Benson Theatre Project (BTP), in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Omaha and Nebraska Writers Collective, is pleased to present the Humans of Tel Aviv Gallery Salon Saturday, Feb. 23.

The event begins at 7:00pm at The B Side of Benson Theatre, 6058 Maple Street. Tickets are $10 per person and are available at the door.

The BTP is currently hosting the Humans of Tel Aviv exhibit by Erez Kaganovitz at B Side. Inspired by the widely popular Humans of New York blog, Kaganovitz – an Israeli journalist – founded Humans of Tel Aviv in 2012. The project aims to show the authentic cultural and human diversity of Tel Aviv and the country of Israel.

The Feb. 23 salon will include:

  • Authentic Israeli cooking demonstrations and tasting
  • Storytelling
  • Open mic
  • Readings of renown Tel Aviv poet Amos Oz
