Grand Opening of B Side Dec. 1

The grand opening of The B Side of Benson Theatre is set for Friday, Dec. 1, from 6:00pm to midnight in conjunction with Benson First Friday. The event is open to the public, and all are welcome.

“Our minor remodel is complete, and we can’t wait to begin sharing the space with our community partners and the public,” said Amy Ryan, executive director of Benson Theatre.

The grand opening will include:

• An open jam featuring local musicians
• Art by Bart Vargas and Nadia Shinkunas
• Tours of the theater space at 6054 Maple Street
  
• Remarks by Benson Theatre Executive Director Amy Ryan
• A video corner to record your memories of the theater in its day
  

The venue’s new bar area will be open for business. Funding for the B Side remodel was made possible by gifts from Chip Davis and Bill Beavers. Watch the theatre’s social media channels for updates!
