EMCSHO is a soulfusion vocalist and writer whose music bridges the richness of Soul/R&B, the boldness of Hip Hop, and the freedom of experimental grooves of jazz. Raised in Omaha and shaped by global sounds, EMCSHO’s art is a deep reflection of lived experience – from love and parenthood, to the pursuit of creative truth. Formerly known exclusively as half of the dynamic duo Wakanda One, his debut EP Love on Sunset is a personal evolution: inspired by a trip to LA during Grammy weekend 2025, the project is a sonic postcard of the evolution of life and love.

Benson and Parking Information:

We recommend arriving early: You can hit one of Benson’s stores or its amazing restaurants for a pre-show bite, or grab a drink at our lobby bar!

There is a loading zone in front of the theatre to drop passengers off. You cannot park in the loading zone for more than 3 minutes. Benson has free (no meters!) on-street parking along Maple Street and side streets, plus there is a free public parking lot at 2729 N 61st Street. Also free parking at the Omaha Public Library – Benson, 6015 Binney Street. Our good friends at Cavanaugh Law Offices allow parking after 5pm weekdays and on weekends at 6035 Binney Street. We also recommend and encourage carpooling to events, or using the Metro Bus (#4 or #14).

Please note: The lot behind and west of the theatre is NOT open for theatre parking. That lot is property of the Haney Shoe Store.
