A mind-bending journey of experimentation, laughter, and healing. Set in a vibrant and surreal venue, THE DOSE is a fully immersive psychedelic experience featuring a carefully curated line-up of some of the best comedians in the country (seen on HBO, Comedy Central, Late Night, Netflix, Don’t Tell, and more!).
At THE DOSE we facilitate the perfect set and setting for both the comedians and the audience to find the funny within their expanding minds. Our Master of Ceremonies and creator of THE DOSE is Steven Gillespie (CONAN, AMAZON PRIME), a nationally touring stand-up comedian and a psychedelic connoisseur.
THE DOSE is more than a comedy show, it’s a multi-media event featuring our very own DJ and he will play before, during, and sometimes even after the show! Don’t miss the pre-show DJ set (starts at 7 pm doors), its becoming more and more popular. It features live music, visuals, vendors, and flow performers.

We always try to keep the party going after the comedy show by opening up the floor for dancing and flow performers featuring DJ N3ilface. Bring your flow toys and lets vibe!
We encourage all types of festival performers and artists to come show off their work during the pre-show DJ set (Jugglers, Dancers, Hula Hoopers, sound bathers, Poi, psychedelic artists etc.). Benson has on-street parking along Maple Street and side streets. There is a free public parking lot at 2729 N 61st Street, and at the Omaha Public Library – Benson branch 6015 Binney Street. Cavanaugh Law Offices behind and east of the theatre at 6035 Binney Street allows parking after 5pm weekdays and on weekends. Please note: The lot behind and west of the theatre is NOT open for theatre parking. That lot is property of the Haney Shoe Store. We also recommend and encourage carpooling to events with friends and family, or using the Metro Bus (#4 or #14).
