Amends Returns to B Side Dec. 27, 28, 29

In B Side, Benson Theatre, Theatre

BENSON – Benson Theatre is pleased to host a return performance of Amends this month at The B Side of Benson Theatre, 6058 Maple Street.

Playwright Joe Hoover and his brother, Bill, play eight characters about a group of friends trying to make things right with each other, no matter how wrong it goes.

Performances are set for Dec. 27 and Dec. 28 at 7:00pm and Dec. 29 at 2:00pm. The play wanders through the dust of a narcissistic age, where even spirituality and reconciliation become mere vehicles for serving the insatiable ego. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Joe Hoover is a Jesuit brother, actor and playwright based in New York. His brother, Bill, is a local artist, musician and performer. Director Nils Haaland is a long-time actor in Omaha and founding member of Omaha’s Blue Barn Theatre. Kate Williams, stage manager, is a musician and veteran stage manager in various Omaha venues, and also manages Film Streams.

The play is a production of Xavier Theatre and Film. For more information, contact Joe at jhoover@jesuits.net or 646.431.1895.
